Ruri was about to respond to him when he went jogging off towards the store. She sighed to herself as she collected the rest of her items and put them in a neat little pile, all the while talking to herself. "That's what you need Ruri, some overly attractive guy watching you struggle with groceries." She groaned again. "Today sucks."
She turned when she heard his foot steps approaching. "Thanks." She smiled before filling the new bag with her groceries.
"Yeah. I live a few blocks away. It's not far." She always ended up working close to her house. "You really don't have to help me. You've been really nice already." She wasn't used to people being nice.
